You'd be foolish to think that more games get released on PC just because of epic paying for a years exclusivity. If the Japanese Publisher/devs want to take it up the rear, thats their choice, i won't be the middle man to take it for em. People will find a way around it, they always do. Cuz that's the direction that the PC gaming scene in Japan is headed when considering the developers' distaste towards the platform, our unwillingness to "buy x so y can be on PC" and console fans demanding to see the failures of Japanese PC ports. I know i'm being overly optimistic about the possibility of Epic Games persuing more deals with Japanese developers, but i've been disappointed enough times with the past 8 years from my observations of the PC gaming scene in Japan to know the alternative. My argument for Epic Games is that if their deal with Square-Enix works out for them, then they'll probably be more inclined to throw money at Japanese developers because that's likely going to be the only thing that will tell them to put their games on PC.
